I am the first UK accredited Designing Your Life Coach.

As such, I can support you through the Life Design framework and tailor it to your needs.

Designing Your Life

Read the book?

Designing Your Life by its very nature needs a community of support. If you don’t have people around you right now at the same stage as you, ready to make a change, you might want to consider coaching as your support.

A fellow Designing Your Life coach and I have started a small community for our UK clients and you can find out more here:

Not read the book?

No problem. Designing Your Life is based on the Design Thinking methodology that organisations use to solve complex problems.

There are a series of reflective exercises that help you define what you are looking for in work and life, generate ideas that might meet that definition and start seeking out opportunities to test your feelings about your next move before making any changes.

In a world where work and technology are moving fast this kind of career adaptability might be the most important tool you have which is why it’s on the curriculum at Stanford!

“A Designing Your Life class has become one of Silicon Valley’s most popular courses… Two academic studies have now proved its ability to cut anxiety on the career front and help people reach their goals whatever their age… Crucially, your life is not a problem to be solved. It’s an experience, and the fun comes from designing it”

Group Workshops

Designing Your Life lends itself really well to group coaching with either 3, 6 or 9 participants.

If your group would like to book a session contact me to arrange a format that works for you.

Corporate

Forward thinking organisations, Pinterest and Google amongst them, offer Designing Your Life workshops to staff. Career development nowadays is an employee’s personal responsibility but if you provide opportunities like Designing Your Life which can improve satisfaction at work could that also improve retainment and performance?

Higher Education

Life Design is on the curriculum at Stanford as a way to help students work out what they would like to do after graduation. Bill Burnett and Dave Evans truly believe it might be the only relevant tool, given the pace of technological change in the workplace, to help build a happy life and a sustainable career.

If you would like me to work with a class of your students then please contact me to explore this further.
